About Us

The story of our lip balm begins in 1882 in Chur, Graubünden. The Rosenapotheke pharmacy in Untere Gasse was owned by Joseph Anton Lohr and his wife Anna Augusta Lohr-Essich from 1882 onwards. This is the birthplace of our lip balm. Strongness was first produced in 1882 and has been continuously developed by Lohr's descendants ever since.​
